| What is the cost? |

There is no charge for the Briefing; however, all attendees are responsible for arranging and booking their own travel and accommodations. |
| What is the itinerary? |
|
The Briefing will kick off on Tuesday evening with the Capitol Tour from 6PM-9PM. Events on Wednesday will run from 8AM-5PM. See the Travel Tips page for flight itinerary suggestions. |
| What type of Briefings do we offer? |
|
While we offer All-Inclusive Briefings to pastors and ministers from a variety of denominations, we also periodically offer specific Briefings, including our African American Pastors Briefing, Student Leadership Briefing, and Military Chaplains Briefing. Stay tuned to the site for these 2008 dates. |
| When is the next Briefing? |

We look forward to returning in Spring, 2008 for additional events in DC. Please check back with us in January for the upcoming dates! |
| What is the purpose of the Briefing? |
|
This is a unique educational and informative opportunity for ministers to hear from the hearts of some of the top Christian congressional leaders in the country. Our hope is that you will return home encouraged and educated about the issues of the day that affect faith and family and that you will be inspired to share with your congregations what they may do to take a more active role in the political process. |
| Who may attend a Briefing? |
|
The Congressional Pastors Briefings are intended for pastors and ministry leaders - those who exercise substantial influence in the church. |
| What about spouses? |
|
We invite spouses to participate with the pastor; however, due to limited space and the nature of this event, children and additional family members are not encouraged to attend. |
| What hotel should I use? |
|
Please refer to the Travel Tips page for suggested hotels. |
| What is the dress? |
|
Business casual for Tuesday evening (no tie) and business dress for Wednesday (suit/tie). |
| What about luggage storage? |
|
Please allow plenty of time for travel on Tuesday so that you can check into your hotel before the Capitol Tour as there is not a place to store luggage during the Tour. |
| Are meals included? |
|
WallBuilders will provide lunch on Wednesday. |
| What if I am disabled? |
|
Due to the layout of Washington, DC, much, much walking is to be expected. All of the buildings are wheelchair accessible, but if you have a question regarding you ability to participate, please let us know. |
| May I bring a "gift" for the speakers? |
|
WallBuilders Briefing policy prevents attendees from distributing gifts or flagging down the speakers before or after their presentation during the Briefing. Direct contact with the speakers needs to be arranged with that speaker's office prior to your visit. (This means no "pictures in the hall"!) |
| What about photos? |
|
While photos are welcomed and encouraged for both the Capitol Tour and Briefing session, please remember that our policy does not allow for personal photos with any of the speakers. Arrangements for personal photos must be prearranged and confirmed through that individual speakers office and may not take place during the WallBuilders Briefing session. |
| May I audio/video record the Briefing? |
|
Due to the sensitive nature of the Briefing session, audio/video recording is not permitted. However, snapshot cameras are welcome. |
| May I audio/video record the Capitol Tour? |
|
You are welcome to bring your video recorder along for the Capitol Tour; however, WallBuilders offers an identical 2 hour Spiritual Heritage of the United States Capitol video/DVD for sale and you will most likely enjoy the Tour and the experience inside the Capitol if you are not peering through a viewfinder!
