Restoring Courage Event

Israel is under attack in a manner unprecedented in our generation – the world is filled with those who want to see her as only a footnote in history. In fact, in September, the United Nations is expected to pass a resolu- tion against Israel – against her right of self-determination and self-defense. The passage of that resolution will become a global hunting license for Israel’s enemies to attack her in new and unprecedented manners.

Throughout history, a dividing line between civilization and barbarism has always been defined by how one treats Israel and Jews. It was certainly this way in World War II and the year’s leading up to it, and there are ominous signs that history is seeking to repeat itself on this issue – Israel’s worldwide enemies are once again lining up in array against her. But this time, Israel must not stand alone. The civilized world must stand with Israel – they must show global backbone and courage, showing that the United Nations does not speak for the world.

According to Webster’s 1828 Dictionary, “courage” means: “Bravery; intrepidity; that quality of mind which enables men to encounter danger and difficulties with firmness, or without fear or depression of spirits; valor; boldness; resolution.”

The Restoring Courage Event is an opportunity to show global support for Israel. It is a non-partisan, non-political gathering that will occur in Israel, gathering people from across the world from all political, philosophical, and religious spectrum, but all have one common goal: standing with Israel. The Restoring Courage events begin with a special meeting on August 21, 2011, at the Roman Amphitheater at Caesar ea, on the shores of the Mediterranean, followed by a special event at Masada, and climaxing in the globally-televised highlight on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The events will feature spiritual and political leaders from dozens of countries around the world, as well as leaders from Hollywood, pro-sports, business, media, and countless spheres, including just average citizens, standing shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with Israel.

For more information on these events, you may visit the Restoring Courage website. If you would like to attend, tour packages are available through two groups: DuCar Tours and Voyager Travel. There are two ticket options: the VIP Ticket and the General Admission Ticket. To attend the events in Israel, you must have tickets.

If you cannot attend in person but want to help and to show your solidarity with Israel, there are still several ways you can be involved. For example, you can participate by helping to underwrite the cost of this event in Jerusalem with a contribution to the Restoring Courage Fund. Additionally, numerous spiritual and political leaders from around the world are excited and eager to attend and show support from their nation for Israel, but they come from very poor countries that make it almost financially impossible for them to attend. If you would like to help sponsor these leaders so that they can attend the event and thus help send a powerful message to Israel’s enemies in the world, you can make a contribution for their travel and accommodations.
