ARE YOU A CONSERVATIVE TEACHER INTERESTED IN ATTENDING A CONFERENCE CATERED TO YOU?

WallBuilders is now offering a unique experience for teachers!

David and Tim Barton are proud to present the WallBuilders Teachers Conference! This conference is designed to equip teachers from both public and private schools with principles and techniques that were used in early American education and thereafter for decades. Teachers will also have the unique opportunity each day to research from original documents from our library of 100,000 items related to early education and American history. This unique conference is designed to be informative and encouraging to teachers to help them make a greater impact on their students and ultimately the nation at large.

The conference will include:

  • Christian Heritage (from the First Colonists to American Independence and the Founding Era to the Civil War and beyond)

  • Early Educational Foundations and When They Changed

  • Effective Teaching Techniques

  • Apologetics for Modern Attacks on America and American History

  • Unique Research Opportunities in Original Documents

The two dates for this three-day Conference are March 14-16, 2018, and July 25-27, 2018, in Texas. There is no cost, but each participant must provide their own transportation, room, and board (local hotels are available). Space is limited. For more information email [email protected].

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Even though this conference is open to all teachers, it is more geared towards history and government teachers, school administrators, and college and university faculty.

The conference will take place in Aledo, TX. Specific information will be provided upon confirmation of your registration.

Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) is the closest major airport.  It is located about 45 miles northeast of Aledo.

Yes (or at the very least an Uber budget). Even though Aledo is growing, it is still a two stoplight town and thus lacks public transportation. A car is definitely recommended.

Even though pens and paper are available, we recommend you bring your own pens, notebook, laptop, etc. with which you can take notes. We also recommend you bring a sweater if you have a tendency to get cold, and don’t forget your camera! You will definitely want to document this experience!

The conference lasts from 9AM to 4:30PM on Wednesday and Thursday and 9AM to 3:30PM on Friday.

Subway, Aledo Diner, Palio’s Pizza, Sonic, Poquito Mas Mexican restaurant are all located in Aledo. The next town over has McDonald’s, Chicken Express, Taco Casa, Whataburger, and RailHead BBQ. (Please note: none of the restaurants are really within walking distance.)

Due to the interactive nature of this conference, WallBuilders does not offer recordings of the sessions.

The dress for this event is casual to business casual (jeans and a nice top are fine).

Please note: Our July 2018 Conference is currently full.
Registrations received will automatically be added to the wait list.
